Hi everyone, welcome back. If you’re new here, my name is Smitha. In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you Jacqueline Fernandez’s look This look is from her new song “genda phool”. I had gotten several requests to recreate this look I’ll be showing you both hair & makeup, so let’s start the tutorial Before we start with makeup, lets prep the hair To curl your hair, you can use curlers and curling wands Today I’ll show you an easy method I just washed my hair and towel dried it, its still wet Now I’m going to apply this mega mousse you can use any that you have I’m using the one from loreal I’m applying all over my hair, and then I’ll scrunch it, meaning, lift my hair and press this will help the curls to form, and the mousse will hold the curls.
If your hair is naturally wavy/curly then you can use this technique, if your hair is extremely straight then you may have to use curlers/curling wand I’ll scrunch it approximately for 10 minutes and then air dry it.
you can also use a hair dryer. Let’s start the makeup first I’m starting with a serum this is wet n wild Prime focus primer serum this is a primer and serum and helps to moisturize too I’ll apply it all over the face for my hyper pigmentation and dark circles I’m using a peach/orange corrector to correct it from the coastal scents palette, I’ll apply it with a flat shader brush in areas where i have dark circles and patches, Jacqueline’s makeup looks very natural and flawless, and that’s why I’m using color correction this will help to neutralize hyper pigmentation and dark circles and you can comfortably apply makeup/foundation over it before I apply the foundation I’ll set this lightly with powder so it doesn’t mix with foundation to prime/moisturize lips I’m using a lip balm from wet n wild and for foundation I’m using the new wet n wild Photo Focus Dewy Foundation – Desert Beige, I’ll blend it with a damp sponge and to blend on neck I’m using the real techniques kabuki brush to add some structure and dimension I’ll lightly cream contour for this I’m using the wet n wild MegaGlo Makeup Stick in Call Me Maple I’m applying it lightly because Jacqueline’s makeup is very light and looked very natural, I’m using the kabuki brush to blend for concealer I’m using milani in 145 I’ll use it around the eyes and in areas where I have dark circles/patches/spots to cover it.
when you have to cover spots/dark circles make sure to use a concealer that’s your skin tone. If you use a lighter concealer, then it’ll look ashy again to blend this out I’m using a damp sponge I’m dipping the same sponge into some powder this is Airspun Translucent loose powder I’ll first use it in areas where I applied the concealer to set it so it doesn’t crease and after that I’ll set my full face/neck to seal the face, I’m using a setting spray this is Colourpop pretty fresh hydrating setting mist the hair is drying and the curls are forming, let’s start the eye makeup.
I’m starting with brows the pencil that I’m using is the Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil in 4.5 – neutral deep brown I’ll use it to fill only sparse areas/bald spots to keep the brows looking neat/natural Jacqueline’s overall look is matte, including eye makeup she had a matte ivory color on the lid and the crease looked defined the palette I’m using today is the Morphe X Jeffree Star Artistry Palette for transition at the crease, I’m using the peach(y) shade called channel, to blend, I’m using the sigma E40 blending brush I’ll blend this all the way to the inner corner and also in the crease & outer corner her crease has a mauve/purple shade so I’m using mogul in the crease, the brush I’m using is a small blending brush from colourpop I’ll focus this at the crease and then blend the 2 shades out using the sigma E40 on the lid I’m applying the light matte shade called Lynn.
first I’m applying with finger and then blend the edges with a brush I’m using this brown in my lower lash line called hi dude, and I’m using an angled brush and for eyeliner, I’m using colourpop Numero Liquid Liner pen her liner was smoked out so I’m going to smoke mine with a black eyeshadow and the brush I’m using is a small definer brush from colourpop to highlight my brow bones, I’m using lynn and the brush I’m using is a flat shader brush from colourpop, & to highlight the inner corner I’m using a light gold shade called designer label to finish up, I’ll use mascara/lashes for mascara I’m using Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara and for lashes I’m using Colourpop Lashes in Doll her water line has a nude eyepencil so I’m using this one from colourpop that finishes the eye look for a bronzed/warm look, I’m using a bit for Milani bronzer and I’ll apply a blush very lightly the one I’m using is Colourpop – Growth Flirt Blush she had a mauve/purple undertone lipstick so I’m using the Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Mocha this is a liquid lipstick and the Ofra liquid lip formulas are great! they’re very comfortable makeup is done and the curls are formed I will lightly separate them and set with my fingers to complete the look I’m using bindi/accessories/jewelry and all my jewelry is from Bangalore if you’re from Bangalore, you may know a store in Jayanagar called Bhavani Kangan store whenever I visit Bangalore, I buy all my jewelry there and this is the completed look, I hope you liked it, please let me know below all the products that I’ve used are listed in the description below you’ll also find my socials there you can also follow me on Instagram/facebook I’ll see you again soon in another tutorial!!
