a major fan base hey guys in terms of your presence it’s important to find a balance between a makeup Authority and also a real person it’s really important to connect but also know what you’re doing for YouTube you have to post frequently and on a real schedule they need to know when to come back and when they’ll be able to find you use video on all platforms and get your audience commenting it that’s the best sign that they’re engaged good luck thank you influencers are you ready for your next challenge yeah today you will create an engaging social story reinventing the smoky eye they say it’s a smoky eye challenge I am relieved because I can do smoky eye with like my eyes closed you will have 30 minutes to create your most out-of-the-box version using the following products covergirl intensify me liquid liner lid lock up eyes shadow primer true naked eye shadow palette peacock flare mascara melting pout Matt the clock starts hey this is Bethany put that down knowing that they want a smoky eye I’m pretty nervous because having fair skin and not cleaning up that fallout in time just one little mistake could jack my whole face up you trying to get that bullet pop of color going you know to elevate the smoky I think I’m just gonna do color it’s a pretty easy way to spice up a look and I’m not sure that anyone else will do it smoky eyes and we’re gonna add a little elevates a smoky I’m going to go in it add some rhinestones as my element of surprise so every time I blink it’s just like oh no what is happening I’m looking at my right eye and it’s not blended it’s so patchy I know I have a limited time but I feel like the best thing for me to do is just to wipe it off and start over ten minute warning yeah I’m not happy time is almost up I still haven’t put the sequins on and I’m wondering do I really have enough time to elevate this look by adding the sequins the glue has the dry I’m nervous five four three two one time’s up you’re done you have 30 minutes to edit you’re getting towards the end of my edit and I realize that there’s a small patch that isn’t that blended and I’m worried that the judges are gonna pick up on that because they see the edit before they see me time’s up put your phones down we’re gonna look at your videos and we’ll bring you back in my idea for the smokey eye is a risky choice but the judges asked for something they’ve never seen before and as I look around I realized not everyone who listened to the instruction so let’s see how this goes hey this is Bethany and today I’m gonna be showing you a dramatic smoky eye first I’m gonna be priming my eyelids I’m gonna bring that primer all the way around the bottom of the eye that’s great she’s the first person who’s used the time on the bottom mm-hmm next I’m gonna be using the covergirl flamed out shadow stick this is gonna be a great base for the jewel tones that I’m gonna be putting on top of it then I sweep over one last time with that original tan shade I’m gonna be adding a bit of glitter I think feels so much for watching this tutorial and have a good one great delivery just don’t know if the final nailed it for me what do you think yeah I agree I’m not totally sure the chest colors are thanks for me yeah hi guys but for today we’re gonna recreate the smoky eye I am going to take the covergirl melting pout matte and I’m gonna apply this to my lip well if she’s using a lip product under yeah that’s really creative sometimes it doesn’t always go right right okay we just start over so this eye I got what I wanted cause if I I’m gonna do it again here’s we’re about to take this eyes the next level using the melting pout met up with lipsticks then you created I’m gonna take a sponge and you’re gonna pick at it then you’re gonna pick the color that you want and create a gradient and well show you how oh wow that’s quite risky I hope we enjoyed my rendition of the classic smoky eye what do you think about her overall look I think it’s really pretty and if I did that her techniques I’m pretty sure wouldn’t turn out as good as all right onto our next tutorial today I’m gonna be teaching you how to achieve this classic smoky we’re gonna be going into just great shuttle right here with a fluffy brush and we’re just gonna put it above the crease like right here we’re not really going to cons for my show because this is such a dramatic look and we don’t want to like a drag queen so we’re just gonna go in and bronze a little bit alright you guys I really hope you enjoyed this particular hood oh my goodness what are you guys think about the overall look I mean the finished look is great the only thing is that it’s not out of the box which is what we were looking for mm-hmm hi everyone welcome back so in today’s video I am going to be creating a my version of my glamorous smoky eye keep in mind have fun with it stress at the end of the day you have this piece of tape pretty much saving your slope I think the way that she talks in the video is very relatable lips I want to use something that is my old fashion statement so I’m taking the cover don’t melt eShop math in the color map talk and so that’s everything for my smokey eye ideals I’m intrigued that she used a dark lipstick shade with dark eyes it’s beautiful though and we commented beforehand not to give us the basic smokey eye and I feel like she kind of gave us the basic smokey eye hi guys so today we’re gonna show you know my take on a smoke yet I’m just gonna go ahead and take this purple from the jaws palette and use that as my transition shade now using the same palette I’m gonna go in with this black shirt right here and just pack that right onto my outer corner all right nice is that we still have a little bit of space where you can see where we cut the crease so I’m just gonna go ahead and line that with lash glue I’ll pack some glitter on it she’s doing good education and she’s going which I know that was direction that we gave her in the last challenge here is our smokey eye I hope you enjoyed and I’ll see you in the next one do you like her final look what do you think I do I really like it I like that she’s always very bold and Mileena so when we put herself out there who’s her favorite I think final look wise Rebecca went there with the challenge and did try and reinvent the smoky eye and she also did it with liquid lipstick like there’s so many things she tried for the first time i beez I really liked her personality she’s very poised and confident but not in a annoying way yeah well done on this challenge now we’re going to give you each some feedback based on the tutorials you presented Bethany we thought the shade of blue you chose was stunning like last time you really nailed the teaching aspect of the challenge we didn’t feel that the execution was as strong as your intention okay Thank You Rebecca we were thrilled that you really listened to this challenge and found a unique way to elevate the smoky eye your use of lip products and the sponges to add texture was great it’s something we’ve never seen before however we weren’t really sure how easy this would be for your audience to do at home Tania we found you relatable and super easy to connect with in this tutorial but your challenge in this tutorial was to elevate the basic smoky eye and we felt that you played it safe Kenneth the challenge was to reinvent the smoky eye and we were really hoping that you’d give us a smoky eye that is as memorable as your fun personality Ivy we all really liked your version of the smoky eye you heard the challenge and added your creative vision and the winner of the reinvent the smoky eye challenge is Rebecca we’re halfway through the competition and I’m super excited about this win I’m finally understanding what to expect what I need to work on I’m finding my stride and I’m super focused and I’m ready to win again I’m definitely bummed that I haven’t won a challenge yeah I kind of feel like I want to stand out and I feel like I’m kind of lying in the middle and I don’t want to lie in the middle I want them to look at me and think we want her she’s amazing well congratulations Rebecca we’ll see you back at Laura incubator the clock starts now we’re halfway through the composition and I have not had a win yet I’m not used to this pressure I’m used to pressure but this is a different type of pressure I grab a product it goes on top of your eye
