(birds chirping) (eerie musicbox music) – [Voiceover] You might belong in Hufflepuff where they are just and loyal. Those patient Hufflepuffs are true and unafraid of toil. (whip) (upbeat music) Hello fans, and welcome back to my Hogwart houses series.
So today we’re focusing on the lovely Hufflepuff House. To begin, I’m taking a golden yellow eyeshadow and tapping and brushing it all over my eyelid whilst using a cotton pad to catch any fallout. Once I’m happy with that, I’m going in with my favorite fluffy brush to soften those edges.
Then I’m taking the same yellow on a liner brush and taking it across my lower lashline from the outside to the middle. Moving onto the black eyeshadow, I’m completing the lower lashline with the black, and as per usual, going in with that fluffy brush to blend it all together.
Working with black can be messy, but just roll with it. I’m putting the black on the outer V of my eye and gradually bringing it up along my eye socket and then blending it out to make it smoky. This really softens and merges the colors together.
I’m going back in with the yellow because I did lose a little bit of the vibrance whilst I was blending and we definitely want the colors to pop. As with most of my makeup looks, I love an inner corner highlight, so I went ahead and did that with a white, shimmery eyeshadow.
And then taking some black liquid eyeliner and doing a classic wing. Now I know that people frown upon pulling your skin tight when doing this, but hey, you just gotta do you and whatever works for you and YOLO.
Once you have your wings on fleek we’re gonna mirror it with a white, which I’m taking from my flash palette. Now just be patient with this part until you get it right, because it can be pretty messy, kinda.
Then after a quick curl of the lashes, I’m gonna go ahead and coat my lashes with mascara which usually means that it’s time to apply some false lashes. I did try and choose some natural pretty ones for this look.
Now at this point, I felt as though something was missing, so I decided to go in with a bold metal glitter liner to add some sparkle, because you can’t go wrong with a little bit of glitter. And that’s it! You’re ready to be a proud Hufflepuff at Hogwarts this year.
